"Dandi March, " also known as "Dandi Kuch" or the "Salt Satyagraha, " was a pivotal act of nonviolent civil disobedience led by Mahatma Gandhi in colonial India to protest the British salt monopoly, beginning on March 12, 1930, from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi.
